Rakshit Shetty opens up about the HARDEST scene he shot for Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A

There's no denying that Rakshit Shetty likes to dedicate all his self to each of his acting gigs and this trait is particularly apparent in Sapta Sagaradaache Ello. Hemanth M Rao's two-part film presents Rakshit in two starkly contrasting shades and looks and the actor has himself admitted on multiple occasions that his transformation in the film isn't physical but also an emotional, psychological one.

But all the tenacity and the will to explore the depths of the character are now bearing fruits for Rakshit Shetty who has been receiving rave reviews for his performance in Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A. As Manu, not only did he imbue the film with a sense of believability and empathy but he also managed to lend a dramatic edge to the fervid love story. Of course, one is aware of the fact that the actual height of his transformation will be witnessed in Side B of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello. But in the meantime, the actor took some time off to reflect on some of the most memorable moments of being Manu. 

And in the same vein, he also opened up about the hardest scene he had to shoot for in Side A, which turns out to be the crucial moment when Manu breaks a rather heart-breaking news to Priya (Rukmini Vasanth) on the crowded staircase at the bus station.

Speaking to Film Companion's Anupama Chopra about shooting this scene, Rakshit said, "They shot her (Rukmini) close-ups first and I was in suggestion (with only a part of his body visible, not his face). But still, I gave my complete self for those takes. So, by the time they came to my close-ups, I was like I have done this 10 times already. I took a break for half an hour and later it all came together."

The scene, of course, without giving too much away, occurs at a pivotal dramatic point in the Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A as Manu reveals his 'decision' to Priya, leaving her shocked and shattered. What happens consequently forms the crux of the film, in a manner, and many have noted that it is in these portions that both the director and his two lead actors shine the brightest.
