Sarath Kumar makes a surprise entry in Bigg Boss Tamil; offers ₹3 lakh to contestants to quit the show

With only seven more contestants left in the house, Big Boss Tamil 5 has become interesting like never before. The show, which commenced three months ago, offered a surprise to its contestants. A senior star made an unexpected entry to the show and came up with an offer which a few of them might do not want to refuse. 

It was none other than Sarath Kumar who entered the show with a sum of ₹3 lakh with a diamond briefcase with him. As per the game's rule, anyone from the contestants can quit the show by taking the money. The makers of the reality show posted a promo video on the same.

The 35-second video has Sarath saying, "Winning and losing are part and parcel of a game. You might wonder why I have come with only ₹3 lakh. But there could be more money. One of you can leave the show by taking this money. You need to take a wise decision between today's benefit and tomorrow's achievement."

The total prize money for the show's winner is ₹50 lakh. Kavin, who shot to fame with Bigg Boss Tamil 3, had accepted ₹5 lakh and quit the show a couple of years ago despite him earning a huge following among the viewers. It has to be seen who among the current contestants will bag the offer this season.   

An excited Sarath took to his Twitter page to share the excitement of having participated in the show. His tweet in Tamil read, #பிக்பாஸ் தமிழ் சீசன் 5 - இல் போட்டியிடும் சகோதர, சகோதரிகளுடன் ஒரு சந்திப்பு - இன்று இரவு 10 மணிக்கு, விஜய் டிவியில் கண்டு மகிழுங்கள். #BBTamilSeason5 #BiggBossTamil5 #பிக்பாஸ் (sic)."

Amir, Ciby, Niroop, Pavni, Priyanka, Raju and Thamarai are the current contestants in the show. The last time the show was in the news was when Ramya Krishnan replaced Kamal Haasan as the host temporarily after the latter was tested positive for COVID-19.
