In a conversation with the mediapersons in Kochi, Telugu actor Nani lauded Malayalam films and their performers. The Jersey star stated that he would make a mass-entertainer war film or a Malayalam adaptation of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones if he ever got the chance to produce a project here.
The actor clarified that this is only feasible in this industry as opposed to others since the producer can easily assemble a group of talented artistes for a film. Even with a strong screenplay that makes sense for each character, it would be difficult to assemble a large casting for a Tamil or Telugu film, he noted.
Nani continued, stating that it is difficult for him to choose a favourite Malayalam film because there have been so many hits this year. However, he did highlight the outstanding performances and success of Aavesham, Bheeshma Parvam, Premalu, and Aadujeevitham. On August 29, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, his next movie, will be released nationwide in theatres.
In this eagerly awaited Telugu project, Nani surprises you with a never-before-seen avatar. SJ Suryah plays a maniacal police officer in the trailer of the film, which was unveiled recently. Nani, a guy with a split personality problem, comes in an attempt to put an end to all the horrors the cop has caused. There is no doubting that Saripodhaa Sanivaaram would attract a new segment of fans for him.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is directed by Vivek Athreya, who helmed the Nani-starrer Ante Sundaraniki. In the action drama, Tamil star Priyanka Arul Mohan portrays the female lead, while SJ Suryah portrays the antagonist. After the movie's theatrical release, Netflix paid a hefty sum to obtain the digital streaming rights. It is projected that the movie will bring in an enormous amount of money at the box office. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is being supported by DVV Entertainment, which has produced RRR and Pawan Kalyan's OG.
