Sarvam Maya: Nivin Pauly confirms Christmas release with 'spiritual' poster, Aju Varghese looks on bemused

The Malayalam film Sarvam Maya is all set for its Christmas 2025 release, its lead actor Nivin Pauly has confirmed with a new poster, which features the Premam star in a spiritual setting. His long-time collaborator and actor Aju Varghese is also back at his side, sporting a bemused look.

Nivin Pauly’s Sarvam Maya 

The teaser of Sarvam Maya released last month, had fans unanimously claiming one thing - it brings back the charming Nivin Pauly of Thattathin Marayathu days. The latest poster that the actor shared on social media on November 19 to confirm the film’s December 25, 2025, release also had Nivin giving off fun vibes. The Premam star was seen dressed traditionally, with a mundu (dhothi) wrapped around him, and a small lamp in his hand. Aju Varghese and senior actor Janardhanan are seen flanking him on both sides. The Akhil Sathyan helmed-film is touted to be a horror comedy, but all three actors appeared to be praying, probably to evade the supernatural entity.

Sarvam Maya on track for December 25 release

Nivin Pauly’s fans would be happy to see that Sarvam Maya is indeed releasing on December 25, 2025. No other Malayalam film has booked the Christmas slot.

The actor had recently sparked a frenzy when he deleted the posters of multiple projects from this Instagram page, putting a question mark over their fate. Movies such as director Thamar K V's Dolby Dineshan, filmmaker Anuraj Manohar's Shekara Varma Raajavu were removed along with Thaaram, and Bismi Special. While there has been no official update on why the actor deleted those posts, OTTplay had learned exclusively that Thamar KV’s project is indeed shelved while Anuraj Manohar's film has been postponed.

Another upcoming film of Nivin Pauly is Dear Students, which also stars popular actress Nayanthara. The makers had dropped a new poster of Nayanthara from the film on her birthday on November 18. George Philip Roy is directing the film, and had earlier released a fun teaser. The thriller film Baby Girl and the Tamil movie Benz are other much-awaited films of Nivin.
