Fans of Sasikumar are in for a treat with back-to-back releases of the actor in different avenues. Era Saravanan's Udanpirappe, in which he was seen playing the lead along with Jyotika, had a premiere on Amazon Prime Video a week ago. Ponram's MGR Magan, which will have him share screen presence with Sathyaraj and Mirnalini Ravi, will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on November 4; an official announcement on the same was made earlier today.
Now, it is revealed that SR Prabhakaran's Kombu Vatcha Singamda which has Sasi and Madonna Sebastian playing lead roles, will have a theatrical release on November 26. Sasi himself took to Twitter to inform the same to movie lovers and his fans.
The trailer of the film, which provided a sneak peek into the film's story, was released a month ago. Soori, Harish Peradi, Sangili Murugan, Aruldoss and Sendrayan among others will be seen in crucial roles in the movie. The project's producer Inder Kumar has essayed a pivotal role in the movie.
Actor-filmmaker Mahendran, who passed away two years ago, has also played an important part in the film. Dhibu Ninan Thomas has composed music for the movie which has cinematography and editing by NK Ekhambaram and V Don Bosco respectively.
The film will take on Venkat Prabhu's Silambarasan-starrer Maanaadu at the box office. The time loop thriller will hit the screens on November 25. It was initially supposed to release on Deepavali. Similarly, Sasikumar's Rajavamsam which was planned as a Dussehra release on October 14, also got postponed. The makers are yet to come up with a new release date for the movie. Interestingly, all these movies of Sasikumar are family dramas set in different backdrops. He has Anis' Pagaivanuku Arulvai, too, in his kitty.
