The globally famous film ‘RRR’ brought laurels galore to our country. At first, it won the hearts of the cinegoers worldwide. Secondly, it won the globally prestigious ‘Golden Globe’ award for the ‘Best Track’ ‘Naatu Naatu’. This was followed by an epic win at the mega prestigious Oscar awards. The film went onto win the ‘Best Original Song’. No prizes for guessing that the song for which the film won the much-coveted award was ‘Naatu Naatu’. Besides the tra ck being extremely famous, the song’s hookstep went onto become an international craze, which was ‘duplicated’ by many in the form of social media posts, feeds and even reels.
This time round, it seems to be the turn of the never-say-old Neetu Kapoor, who posted a video of hers dancing to the tunes of the famous track ‘Naatu Naatu’. Giving her apt company was yesteryear superstar Padmini Kolhapure. Both these evergreen actresses posted this video of their respective social media handles. They had very aptly captioned the post stating, “Tripping on #natunatu with my favourite #neetukapoor step by step will get there soon (winking emoji) #instareels fun fun fun”.
What is interesting about Neetu Kapoor’s ‘version’ of the hit track ‘Naatu Naatu’ is the fact that, the film in which the song was featured – RRR, also had her daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt playing a vital role in the film. Besides Alia Bhatt, the film ‘RRR’ starred an array of actors in the form of N. T. Rama Rao, Jr.Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison, Doody, Olivia Morris and others. The film was directed by the ace film maker S. S. Rajamouli.
No sooner did Neetu Kapoor posted the video on social media, the comments section was filled with compliments galore from her fans and followers, who just could not stop praising the beauty of the two beautiful ladies as well as the energy exhibited by them while performing to the hit track.
