Seetha Payanam teaser: Aishwarya and Niranjan on a journey of finding love

Action King Arjun Sarja’s return to the director’s chair, which comes more than 6 years after his last, Prema Baraha , is yet another love story with his daughter Aishwarya in the lead. While he’d launched her in Kannada and Tamil cinema back then, this time around, he’s taking her to Tollywood too, and given that it is her debut in that industry, chose to reveal the film’s Telugu teaser first. The film, Seetha Payanam, has Niranjan Sudhindra in the lead opposite Aishwarya, and he too will debut in Telugu with it. Niranjan is the nephew of Real Star Upendra.

Seetha Payanam: A unique love story

The teaser introduces audiences to Seetha (Aishwarya) and Abhi (Niranjan), who appear to be on a journey together. She’s the more serious one in this equation, while he’s the livewire and while she’s not too keen to exchange numbers or bond more than seems necessary, he is all for it. The film will, obviously, delve into how their relationship develops, so Arjun also shows audiences the family dynamics of his lead pair, with veterans like Sathyaraj, Prakash Raj, Sumithra, Kovai Sarala, among others on the cast.

Interestingly, during the teaser launch, Arjun and Aishwarya kept talking about it being her first film and the impression was that the duo seemed to have forgotten that she’s done a film with him already. Turns out, they only meant it for the Telugu film industry. Seetha Payanam, meanwhile, brings composer Anup Rubens back to Kannada cinema after more than 5 years. He’s been a part of films like Khushi Khushiyagi, Ramleela , Seetharama Kalyana, and Geetha, earlier, two of which were remakes of Telugu films that he’d scored for.

Produced by Arjun, who has a cameo in the film, Seetha Payanam will also feature Action Prince Dhruva Sarja in a pivotal role. The film is expected to be in theatres shortly.
