Selfie first look: GV Prakash and Gautham V Menon look intense in the latest poster

GV Prakash has yet again surprised his fans with a new movie, touted to be an action thriller, titled Selfie. Having Gautham Vasudev Menon as the movie’s antagonist, the first look of the stars was launched by filmmaker Vetrimaaran on social media, today.

With the tagline ‘Confessions of an Engineer’, it can only be assumed that the tale of Selfie will revolve around the life of an engineer who has an important story to tell. Helmed by the debutant Madhimaaran, the upcoming action-thriller has Kalaippuli S Thanu bankrolling the GV Prakash and Gautham V Menon starrer under the banner of V Creations in association with DG Film Company.

Talking more about the first look, it features the actors sharing intense expressions, who look like they have an axe to grind. The production house announced on social media that fans would experience the upcoming movie in theatres.

Selfie also stars Varsha Bollamma, Thangadurai and Vagai Chandrasekhar in important roles. Apart from starring as the lead, GV Prakash will also be composing the tunes for the upcoming movie. Vishnu Rangasamy has cranked up the cameras for the action thriller.

We had earlier heard the announcement of the team of Selfie getting together to make a movie. It has now presented itself with the title and first look of the movie. Madhimaaran had earlier worked with Vetrimaaran as the associate director in previous ventures. Selfie will be the first time where the debutant director has taken up the reins single-handedly to make the entire movie.

GV Prakash has several movies under his belt, that includes Ayngaran, Jail and Idi Muzhakkam among others. On the other hand, Gautham Menon is busy directing Silambarasan’s rural drama, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.
