Sujoy Ghosh to direct the action thriller

According to Bollywood Hungama, Sujoy Ghosh will direct the upcoming action thriller King, starring Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan. An insider informed the entertainment portal that the iconic film Léon: The Professional will serve as inspiration for the film.

The insider claims that Shah Rukh Khan counts Léon among his all-time favourite films and is thrilled to be adapting the cult masterpiece for the big screen. His role in the film is to prepare his daughter to overcome obstacles. It's more of a hidden message, as the superstar and Suhana will have a fascinating relationship throughout the movie. The rumours were completely unfounded; SRK will have a starring role in King.

Suhana Khan's training for action sequences in King

As per reports, Suhana has reportedly begun training with action teams for a variety of stunts, according to the source. At some of the training sessions, her father, Shah Rukh Khan, joins her at Mannat. Trainers of international renown will train them, and for King, they will experiment with a slightly raw style of action.

Meanwhile, King will be ready for the big screen in 2025 after going on floors in May 2024. On account of its starring role for King Khan, it has quickly become the most anticipated film of 2025.
