Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most loved superstars of Bollywood for a reason. Not only does he deliver powerful performances with a meaningful message in his films, but he also makes time for his fans and well-wishers on various occasions. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan interacted with his fans and well-wishers this evening, acknowledging the success of Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. Here is what he said.

Shah Rukh Khan expresses gratitude to his fans

This evening, Shah Rukh Khan greeted his fans and well-wishers upon the success of his recent films namely Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. Notably, all these films minted over Rs 500 crores globally at the box-office.

Acknowledging the love showered by audiences, Shah Rukh Khan said, “I have been working for about 33 years in the Indian film industry. Before the release of Pathaan (in January 2023), my last theatrical was Zero (in December 2018). I had taken a break for about five years. Normally, when you return back to work (after a gap of 5 years), you do feel a little nervous. You do feel whether you have got the film right.”

“Before 2023, a few of my films had not performed well theatrically. I also felt deep in my heart that I was not making films up to the mark. But I think, I received love from people more than my films. Be it for Pathaan, Jawan or Dunki, people have praised me - within the country as well as outside the country. People have given me a place in their hearts which outnumbers the number of films I have done so far. People have also asked me not to vanish away from work, especially for 4-5 years. I am very thankful to the people and the audiences of my film for making me realize that I should continue working with enthusiasm,” Shah Rukh Khan wrapped up.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is looking forward to his next film titled ‘Tiger Vs Pathaan’. In this film, he would play a titular role alongside Salman Khan. After this film, Shah Rukh Khan will work along with his daughter Suhana Khan in an untitled film.
