Shah Rukh Khan-Nayanthara starrer 'Jawan' to release on THIS DATE?

The year 2018 saw the release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Zero’. Needless to say, that being a Shah Rukh Khan film, there were humongous expectations from the film regarding its performance at the box-office. But, to everyone’s shock (read ‘utter shock’), the film failed to create the magic that is always expected of any Shah Rukh Khan film. The year 2023 saw the release of ‘Pathaan’. The strategy adopted by the makers of ‘Pathaan’ paid rich dividends. For the unversed, the makers of ‘Pathaan’ had devised a no-interview-before-release strategy, which took everyone by utter surprise. But no sooner did the film got released, it started creating box-office records. This is despite the fact that the film did have its share of controversy mainly revolving around the song ‘Besharm Rang’. Despite all this, Shah Rukh Khan reclaimed his King’s position in Bollywood and how! Buoyed by the success of ‘Pathaan’, all the eyes are now trained on the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s next film ‘Jawan’.

Even though there has been no official announcement about the release date of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’, a source-based report in Bollywood Hungama stated that the film is mostly confirmed to be released on June 2 this year. The report stated that the makers of ‘Jawan’ are now planning to start the film’s promotions during the first week of May this year and that the promotional campaign of the film will be for around 5 weeks before the release of the film. The news report also added that the much-awaited trailer is expected to be released soon, which will be followed by the release of the film’s songs.

Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the film ‘Jawan’ also stars the southern star Nay anthara, Sanya Malhotra and Vijay Sethupathi. The film also features Deepika Padukone (who also happens to be Shah Rukh Khan’s co-star of the hit film ‘Chennai Express’) in a cameo.
