Shahid Kapoor, last seen in Deva, might have upped his fees and doubled it for his OTT series, Farzi. The second season of the show was already hinted at, and considering the success of the first, Shahid might be earning the highest salary ever. The Haider actor, who made his OTT debut with Farzi, could have doubled his fees for Farzi season 2, if a recent report is anything to go by. The show, directed by The Family Man duo Raj and DK, comes back after throwing hints right after the first season.

How much is Shahid Kapoor charging for Farzi 2?

According to a report on Pinkvilla, Shahid Kapoor is charging Rs. 45 crore for his stint in the upcoming OTT series, Farzi 2. This is almost double of what Shahid has ever charged for a movie. The actor's reported fees usually are Rs. 25-30 crore.

Farzi 2 schedule

Raj and DK (The Family Man-fame director duo)'s Farzi 2 is scheduled to go on floors in December 2025. They are awaiting the wrap of Rakt Brahmand before moving on to Farzi 2. The pre-production work on Shahid's series is expected to commence soon. Farzi 2 is also scheduled for release in the second half of 2026. This time around, we would see a face-off between Shahid, Vikram Vedha star Vijay Sethupathi, and Vodka Diaries lead Kay Kay Menon. The original show also featured Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora and Kavya Thapar in the lead roles, and they are expected to return for the second season as well.

Shahid Kapoor continues his action streak after Deva received acclaim post its OTT release. The actor will also be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's Arjun Ustara opposite Triptii Dimri. The international filming for the movie would commence in Georgia soon, and is expected to wrap up by June. The action film, which would be Bhardwaj-Shahid Kapoor's fourth after Kaminey, Haider and Rangoon, is expected to release in theatres on December 5, 2025.
