The actor has spoken about the possibility of that movie when the media asked him about it. Yes, Shahid is ready to work with Kareena Kapoor Khan again. But can Jab We Met 2 really happen? Shahid Kapoor learned that netizens are demanding Jab We Met 2 after sharing a hug with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actor, who wrote off the viral hug as 'normal' was left scratching his hair and breaking into a grin. Shahid said, "Beta main actor hoon, woh director hai aur writer hai, unse poocho!"

"It's a fantastic film and if somebody comes up with a story then why not? We can always be a part (of it) too," he added. With it, Shahid kept the possibility of his collaboration with Kareena open.

While the internet went into a frenzy on seeing Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan share a hug, Shahid shrugged it off as 'normal.' The actor revealed that although the hug might be the first time they gave each other a hug in public, the two often greet each other with a hug. Thus, he called it a very normal gesture. Shahid even shrugged off the speculations that he was left surprised with the hug with his recent statement.

Can Jab We Met 2 happen?

Shahid and Kareena are rumoured to be exes who called it off while shooting for Jab We Met. There were many speculations for the breaking apart over the years but the two got settled in their lives. They never shared the same frame since the falling apart, but if anybody can manage to bring them together again, it could be Imtiaz Ali with Jab We Met 2. Currently though, there's no concrete news on the movie.
