Shaitaan box office collection day 4: Shaitaan, starring Ajay Devgn, Jyothika, and R Madhavan, was released in theatres on March 8. The film was doing very well at the box office till its first weekend. The film earned ₹53 crore in India in its first three days. However, after fairing well on the first weekend, the film failed to pass the crucial Monday test and showed a massive decline.

Shaitaan box office collection

The supernatural horror thriller kicked off its box office collections by earning ₹14.75 crore on its release day. After seeing a growth of 27.12% and earning ₹18.75 crore, the film saw a growth of 9.33% on its first Sunday and minted ₹20. crore. However, after massively dropping on Monday, the film earned ₹7 crore. Shaitaan, also starring Janki Bodiwala and Anngad Raaj, saw a big drop of 65.85%. Shaitaan overseas box office collection

The Ajay Devgn film did decent business in the international markets by collecting ₹15 crore. Hence, the total box office collection of the film till now is ₹79.25 crore worldwide.

The Monday test for any film is the biggest turnaround when it comes to box office numbers. It clearly states whether the film will be able to maintain its momentum at the ticket window or not. With Shaitaan's massive drop in the numbers, it looks difficult for the film to make a solid run at the box office. However, let's wait and watch if the film will pick up tomorrow.

Vikas Bahl, who is known for directing films like Queen, Chillar Party, and Super 30, got into the supernatural thriller genre for the first time with Shaitaan.
