We had earlier reported that multi-faceted artiste Vijay Antony will be teaming up with director Arun Prabu Purushothaman for an upcoming Tamil film titled Shakthi Thirumagan. The makers on Wednesday unveiled the teaser of the film on social media.
Vijay Antony, who works as music composer, producer, editor, and actor, will be headlining the upcoming film Shakthi Thirumagan. The film is written and directed by Arun Prabhu Purushothaman, who has earlier made films like Vaazhl and Aruvi. Shakthi Thirumagan marks Vijay Antony’s 25th film as actor.
On Wednesday, the makers of the film unveiled the teaser. The teaser begins with a scam being just broken, and a huge amount of money gone. We see the whole nation trembled, as there are people who are trying to crack it. The hero is introduced, as there is a mystery lurking behind who he is. Vijay Antony is seen as a hustler, gangster, and trickster, with intercuts from the film.
The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam as well. The film’s ensemble cast includes seasoned actors Vaagai Chandrasekar, Sunil Kriplani, Cell Murugan, Trupthi Ravindra, and child actor Master Keshav, among others. It is to be noted that earlier, Shakthi Thirumagan’s Telugu title was called Parashkathi. However, after Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming period drama film is also titled same, Vijay Antony had foregone of the title and his film is now called Bhadrakaali in Telugu.
Besides starring, Vijay Antony will also score the music, and produce under his home banner Vijay Antony Film Production. Raymond Derrick Crasta is the editor, with Shelley Calist cranking the camera. Both the technicians have worked with Arun Prabhu in his previous films.
