For the unversed, it was earlier reported that Aneet had replaced Kiara Advani in the horror comedy film. Kiara was reportedly the first choice for Shakti Shalini. When initial reports of Aneet's involvement with Shakti Shalini emerged, Maddock Films addressed the speculation.
