The talented young actor, who had the biggest blockbuster of his career with the action thriller RDX, is now gearing up for his grand debut in Tamil cinema. Shane Nigam’s debut Tamil project, which has been titled Madraskaaran, had its official announcement today.
Dulquer Salmaan reveals announcement teaser of Madraskaaran
The Madraskaaran team officially announced the project with an interesting announcement video released on the Behindwoods YouTube channel today. The announcement teaser was launched on social media by the renowned actor Dulquer Salmaan through his official handles. “Are you all ready for this??” wrote the King Of Kotha star, who shared the announcement video of Shane Nigam’s debut Tamil project on social media.
In the fun announcement video that is now winning the internet, the director and Madraskaaran team members are seen narrating a story to leading man Shane Nigam. The actor, however, is lost in his own thoughts and begins to enact celebrated actors, including legend Sivaji Ganesan, superstar Rajinikanth, and Thalapathy Vijay. However, the confused director and his team did not appreciate his efforts, and the actor announced that he was leaving for Kochi.
However, the way Shane Nigam said ‘Ithellam velakke aavathu’ impressed the director, who decided to cast him in his project. Later, the actor enquires if the film has a mandatory item song, romance, drunken dance, or machine gun fight scene. When the team members reply that this film has none of these cliche elements, he immediately says yes to the project. From the announcement teaser, it is evident that the talented actor is making his Tamil debut with an interesting project. From the video, it is safe to assume that Shane Nigam might be playing a Malayali who lives in Madras, aka Chennai, in the film.
Madraskaaran – Here’s what we know
The movie, which is touted to be a comedy thriller, is directed by Vaali Mohan Das. As per the reports, the makers are yet to finalise the female lead, the rest of the star cast, and the technical crew of the movie, which is currently under production. Madraskaaran, which is produced by B Jagadish, is expected to hit the big screens by the second half of 2024.
