Marvel fans had a lot to look forward to on this year’s Disney+ day. Marvel Studios released the first look teasers of some of its highly anticipated upcoming shows, including She-Hulk.

The 30 second clip introduces viewers to the character of Jennifer Walters, a lawyer by profession. As her voiceover tells viewers that she is not exactly the normal kind of lawyer, the clip leads to a glimpse of her transformed into the titular superhero.

Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk also makes an appearance, albeit as a much more demure version of the monstrous hero. He is seen explaining to Walters how her ‘transformations are triggered by anger and fear’. Walters also utters Hulk’s iconic catphrase as well, “Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.”

She-Hulk stars Tatiana Maslany of Orphan Black fame in the titular role. In addition to Maslany and Ruffalo, the series also stars Tim Roth, Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Jameela Jamil.

The first look teaser for She-Hulk was released by Marvel on Disney+ Day, which marked the second anniversary of the streaming platform Disney+. In addition to She-Hulk, teasers for Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel were also released.

The upcoming series is based on the Marvel comics character of the same name, created by Stan Lee and John Buscema. The character made her first appearance in 1980. Her comic book origin story is that she gained her abilities after receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner, the original Hulk.

She-Hulk will premiere on Disney+ in 2022. The series will be a part of phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will consist of ten episodes.
