Late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala's parents welcomed a baby boy almost 2 years after the singer was killed in Mansa district in broad daylight.

Balkaur Singh, the father of late singer Sidhu Moosewala, shared a shocking detail about the Punjab government harassing the family. He took to his social media and accused the Punjab government, which is led by Bhagwant Mann, of harassment after the birth of their second child. For the uninitiated, Sidhu's Parents, Balkaur Singh, and Charan Kaur welcomed a baby boy on March 17, almost 2 years after their son was killed in Punjab's Mansa district.
In the video that Balkaur posted on Instagram on March 19, he can be seen alleging that the Punjab government was questioning the family over the 'legality' of their child. he said, "Due to the blessings of Waheguru, we got our Shubhdeep back. But the government is harassing me since morning, asking me to furnish documents of the baby. They are questioning me to prove that this child is legal."
Balkaur Singh, who is 60 years old, and his wife Charan, who is 58 years old, opted for IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) to conceive the baby.

“I want to request the government, particularly chief minister Bhagwant Mann, to till the treatment of my wife gets over. I belong here and will come to any place you call me (for questioning)…I will provide all the legal documents,” Balkaur Singh can be seen saying in the video.
Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, professionally known as Sidhu Moosewala was a well-known singer. He was very popular among the youth and known for the unique style of his songs which he composed and produced. On May 29, 2022, the singer was shot dead in his car by assailants in broad daylight in Jawaharke village of Mansa district. He was 28 years old. The tragic incident took place in the same year when he contested the Punjab Assembly elections on a Congress ticket from Mansa but lost.
