The episodes of Shrimad Ramayan are getting more interesting day by day. In the latest episode of the television series based on the mythological epic of the same name, we see Lord Hanuman thanking Jambavan (the King of the Bears) for enlightening him about his magical powers. Later, Hanuman – with determination in his eyes, flew towards Lanka, where Goddess Sita was kept hostage by the demon Ravana. Lord Hanuman is on a mission to rescue Goddess Sita from the clutches of Ravana.
Lord Hanuman fulfills the wish of mountain deity Mainaka
In the newest episode of Shrimad Ramayan, we see Lord Hanuman flying over the ocean towards Lanka hoping to rescue Goddess Sita from the demon Ravana. While on his way to the island nation, Lord Hanuman encountered a sudden obstacle: a towering mountain obstructed his path. Seconds later, he met the mountain deity Mainaka. The meeting, however, was unique. At the beginning of the meeting, Mainaka later revealed that he is related to Dasharatha, Lord Rama’s father. Lord Hanuman, who was also an ardent follower of Lord Rama, felt happy to know this. During the meet, Mainaka wished to serve Lord Rama by helping his devotee, Hanuman. Mainaka implored Hanuman to stay there for some time before proceeding with his long trip.
This request by Mainaka left Hanuman puzzled. Later, Hanuman devised an idea to fulfill the wish of the deity. Hanuman humbly paid his respects by touching the mountain before explaining the pressing nature of his mission. This development left Mainaka content and satisfied, following which Lord Hanuman resumed his journey.
In today’s episode, we will see Lord Hanuman battling against the demon Surasa – who was often addressed as the queen of serpents. Surasa was a follower of Ravana and tried her best to prevent Hanuman from reaching Lanka. Time will tell who will win this battle.
