Actor Siddharth, who has been maintaining a low profile for quite some time, is now back in the news. He alleges Hindi imposition at Madurai airport when he was traveling with his parents. According to him, the CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) officials there behaved inappropriately to his family.

He took to his Instagram page to share the ordeal he faced and attached a picture, too, from the airport. The Jigarthanda star said that they had to go through the misbehaviour of the officials for 20 minutes, and that his parents were asked to remove coins from their bags.

As if this isn't enough, the CISF officers kept talking to them in Hindi despite requesting them to have the conversation in English. His post read, "Harassed for 20 mins @ Madurai airport by CRPF. They made my senior parents remove coins from their bags! And repeatedly talked to us in Hindi after being told to speak in English (sic)."

When he questioned them, they replied saying, "In India this is how it is." The actor further vented out his anger by posting, "Jobless people showing off power (sic)." Many people have come out in support of the actor on social media and lambasted the officers for talking continuously to his parents in Hindi.

Siddharth will next be seen in Shankar's Kamal Haasan-starrer Indian 2. The movie marks his first film with Kamal and second outing with Shankar. His last Tamil project was Navarasa which had a direct release on Netflix last year.

The actor last hit the headlines sometime ago for his rumoured relationship with Aditi Rao Hydari with whom he shared screen space in the Telugu flick Maha Samudram.
