Parents of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala welcome a newborn son. On Sunday morning, his father, Balkaur Singh shared a picture of him with his newborn baby and announced the news. The picture also has a photo frame of Sidhu in the background which has "Legends Never Die" written on it. Dressed in blue jeans and shirt and holding his baby in his arms, we can also see cake kept on the table.

Sidhu Moosewala's parents, Balkaur Singh is 60 years old while his mother, Charan Kaur is 58 years old. His father captioned the photo in Punjabi which loosely translates to "With the blessings of millions of souls who love Shubdeep, the Almighty has put Shubh’s younger brother in our bag. With the blessings of Waheguru, the family is healthy and thankful to all the well-wishers for their immense love."

When rumors about the pregnancy of Charan Kaur started going around, Balkaur wrote a post on his Facebook account requesting everyone to not believe them. He wrote: "We are thankful to Sidhu's fans who are concerned about our family. But we plead there are so many rumors going around about the family, they are not to be believed. Whatever news, the family will share with you all."

Sources close to the family reveal that in February Sidhu's mother underwent IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) treatment, which was successful and she conceived a baby. Moosewala's uncle Chamkaur Singh confirmed Charan's pregnancy reports.

How did Sidhu Moosewala die?

Punjabi singer-rapper Sidhu Moosewala was very well-known among youngsters for his songs. At the age of 28, on May 29, 2022, the successful singer was shot dead in Mansa. He was taken to Mansa Civil Hospital after he was shot but he was declared dead on arrival. The assailants fired more than 30 rounds at him, who was found in blood in the driver's seat by locals.

The incident took place just after the day when his security cover was withdrawn as a part of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann government's exercise to crack down on VIP culture in the state. For the uninitiated, Sidhu had fought an election from Mansa on a Congress ticket but lost to AAP's Vijay Singla.
