Debutant Vishal Venkat's Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal, which had a theatrical release on January 28, opened to decent reviews from critics and the audience. Ashok Selvan, Nasser, Manikandan, Rythvika, Praveen Raja, Abi Hassan and Anju Kurian among others played pivotal characters in the film.
Meyyendiran and Prasanna GK have handled the movie's cinematography and editing respectively, while actor Manikandan himself has written dialogues for the project. A Felix Raja and Manoj Kumar have helmed art direction for the film, and Dinesh, along with Sri Krish, have jointly choreographed dance sequences in the movie.
What's Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal all about?
The movie revolves around four incidents related to people who hail from different walks of life. Fate brings all of them together at a place, but unfortunately, one of them loses his life in an unexpected turn of events. How his death affects the life of others in different ways form the crux of the story.
Ashok Selvan plays a self-obsessed mobile salesman, while Nasser plays the former's doting father who is all excited for his son's wedding. Abi Hassan essays an aspiring actor and Anju Kurian is his co-star in his debut film. Manikandan is an ambitious, but cold-blooded employee who works in a hotel. Praveen Raja and Rythvika play a couple with contrasting ideologies.

The film will have its OTT premiere on aha Tamil on February 25. This is the second Tamil movie to have digital premiere on the newly launched platform after Samuthirakani-starrer Writer. The performances of Ashok Selvan, Nasser, Manikandan and Praveen Raja received appreciation from critics post the movie's theatrical release.
