Sivakarthikeyan posts a picture with Ajith Kumar, fans of the stars go gaga over the unexpected treat

Sivakarthikeyan, who was last in the news during the release of his Prince a month ago, has now hit the headlines as a picture he has posted with Ajith on his social media page has started going viral. Fans of both the stars are elated with their unexpected meeting, and are expressing excitement in the comment section. 

Siva, who seems to be equally thrilled, said that he was happy to receive positive words from Ajith. He posted, "Met AK sir after long time. yet another meeting with sir, to cherish for life. Thank you for all the positive words and wishes sir (sic)."

Interestingly, not many know that Siva had shared screen space with Ajith in Raju Sundaram's Aegan which was released in 2008. Some of the movie lovers posted a screen grab from the scene which features the two actors, and appreciated Siva for his inspiring journey over the years.

A few also expressed interest in watching them together again on the big screen. While Ajith looks calm and composed in the photo, Siva is seen posing for the shutterbug with excitement. Earlier this year, Siva had posted pics with Rajinikanth and Vijay as well, leaving cinephiles excited. 

Ajith's next outing is H Vinoth's Thunivu, followed by Vignesh Shivan's AK 62 (tentative title). The former will release in January 2023, while the latter is expected to go on floors later. Siva, on the other hand, has Madonne Ashwin's action thriller Maaveeran coming up next. 

He has Rajkumar Periyasamy's untitled movie and Ravi Kumar's sci-fi Ayalaan, too, in his kitty. The former has Sai Pallavi playing the female lead while the latter has been in the making for a long time.
