After scoring back-to-back hits with Doctor and Don (both streaming on Netflix), Sivakarthikeyan is ready with his next outing. The bilingual project directed by Anudeep is releasing in Tamil and Telugu on October 21 as a Deepavali release. The team has already unveiled two singles from the film, and the third track will be released tomorrow.
The makers have announced that the censor formalities for the project have been completed; Prince has bagged a U certificate, and is ready for the box office clash with Karthi's Sardar next week. The team has also revealed the movie's run time.
The fun-filled entertainer will have a duration of 2 hours 23 minutes. The run time is lesser when compared to a few big ticket films in Kollywood in 2022 like Ponniyin Selvan, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, Cobra, Vikram, Don and Beast. Maria Ryaboshapka is playing the female lead in Prince.
Sathyaraj and Premgi Amaren are others who will be seen essaying pivotal roles in the film which has music composed by Thaman. Manoj Paramahamsa and Praveen KL have handled cinematography and editing respectively for the movie which has art direction by Narayana Reddy.
Suniel Narang, D Suresh Babu and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao have produced Prince which has action choreography helmed by Dinesh Subbarayan while Shobi Paulraj and Sathish Krishnan have jointly composed dance choreography. Director Anudeep has penned the story along with Mohan Sato. Prabhakaran and Anand Narayanan have written Tamil dialogues for the project which is Siva's biggest release in Telugu.
Vijay Deverakonda had released its Telugu trailer recently. One of the reasons why the movie is carrying good expectations among cinephiles is because of the director's previous outing Jathi Ratnalu which went on to become a huge hit in Telugu in 2021.
