SK 21: Sivakarthikeyan's next wraps up the first schedule in Kashmir, makers thank the Indian army and cops

The team of SK 21 has been maintaining suspense over Sivakarthikeyan's hairstyle ever since the project was officially launched a while ago. The actor is reportedly playing an army man in the film being helmed by Rajkumar Periyasamy. Its music director GV Prakash revealed a few days ago that the project is a war film.

Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International is bankrolling the film along with Mahendran and Sony Pictures India. Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead in the movie, and the team is yet to announce the other cast in it.

SK 21's first schedule wraps up in Kashmir

The project's first schedule has been completed in Kashmir where the crew was shooting for 75 days. Director Rajkumar Periyasamy has announced the news, leaving fans thrilled. He also posted a couple of pics from the location in which the team is seen posing for photos after celebrating Holi. Rajkumar profusely thanked the Indian army and cops for their support in helping the team shoot the portions without any hassles. 

Siva is also seen in one of the stills, but his secret look for the movie isn't clear, thanks to his unrecognizable face after the Holi celebration. A few weeks ago, a pic of him sporting a ribbed physique from his caravan went viral.

SK 21, a project of many firsts

The untitled film brings Siva and Sai Pallavi together for the first time. This is their first outing under Raaj Kamal Films International's production. GV Prakash has been roped in as the musician for the first time for a Sivakarthikeyan-starrer. The musician revealed recently that he would love to come up with a peppy song that has scope for the lead actors to shake a leg to it.

SK 21 is also the first film from Kamal Haasan's production house to go on floors after the huge success of Vikram which fetched him enormous profits.
