SK 21: Title of Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi's next to be announced on Diwali

There's some good news for Sivakarthikeyan fans. The latest we hear is that the title of Sivakarthikeyan's next, which is tentatively being referred to as SK 21, is all set to be announced on the occasion of Diwali, according to Vikatan.

Shoot for the film underway
The team had recently wrapped the shoot in Kashmir and is all set to begin the next schedule in Chennai. The first schedule spanned 75 days and the film's director Rajkumar Periyasamy dropped a couple of pics from the set and the team is seen posing for pictures, smeared in colours after celebrating Holi.

In his post, Rajkumar thanked the Indian Army and wrote, "Until next time, Kashmir Thank you for nurturing us! These 75 days of shoot have been surreal! The relentless efforts of the crew, cast and the extensive support of @adgpi @KashmirPolice #Ulaganayagan @ikamalhaasan sir our hero @Siva_Kartikeyan producers #Mahendran sir @ladasingh @RKFI @SonyPicsIndia @turmericmediaTM @khanwacky #Disney have made this possible #SK21FirstScheduleWrap #75daysofKashmirshoot (sic)."

Sivakarthikeyan plays an Army officer
The actor is said to be playing an Army officer in the film and he had been hiding his hairdo for a long time with a cap. Interestingly, this is the first time that the actor will play an Army official in his career. After Rajkumar Periyasamy's post, the speculations got confirmed. Sai Pallavi plays the leading lady in the film. However, deets about her role are kept under wraps.

Kamal Haasan is the producer of the film
The film is produced by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International. We hear that Sivakarthikeyan recently met the Bigg Boss Tamil show host and the veteran actor welcomed as 'the hero of our film'. This is the maiden collaboration between Kamal Haasan and Sivakarthikeyan. GV Prakash Kumar is scoring the music for the untitled project.
