Actor Sivakarthikeyan, who was last seen in Ayalaan, has become one of the undebatable top stars of the Tamil film industry. While the actor will be seen in an action-packed avatar in Amaran, the teaser which was unveiled recently, Sivakarthikeyan will also be joining forces with director AR Murugadoss for an upcoming film SK 23. While not much is known about the film, acting coach Rajesh Balachandiran, who is training Sivakarthikeyan, spilled some beans about the upcoming film.

‘SK 23 will be very different from Amaran’

Speaking at an award function held recently, acting coach Rajesh Balachandiran, who recently worked in critically acclaimed Chittha and training Sivakarthikeyan for SK 23, revealed some preparation work that is going into the project. “As an acting coach, we can only train talented actors and all we can do is help them with the nuances in the performance that are needed for the script. I cannot reveal much about SK 23. All I can say is, there are no big changes but only nuances, which we are training. He will come fresh with his performance and there is a special thing in the script which I cannot reveal. We have just started with the shoot,” Rajesh said.

While hailing at the action-packed teaser of Amaran, Rajesh said, “We had seen the teaser of Amaran from the shooting spot and he looked very good in the role. But SK 23 will be very different from Amaran.”

About SK 23

Directed by AR Murugadoss in his first collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan, SK 23 has Rukmini Vasanth playing the female lead. Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring the music for the film. The film is expected to be a mass entertainer. Sivakarthikeyan had earlier revealed that the film will give him more scope to perform. The shooting for the film began in February.  

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan will be next seen in Amaran directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy. The action drama is a biopic of the late Mukund Varadarajan, who was a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. He was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his operation with the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion. With Kamal Haasan backing the film, Amaran has Sai Pallavi play the female lead.
