SK26 announced! Sivakarthikeyan teams up with Amaran producer Kamal Haasan; first look to drop soon

Actor Sivakarthikeyan, who was last seen in Parasakthi, has given an update on his upcoming film, tentatively called SK 26. The project will see the actor once again reuniting with his Amaran producer Kamal Haasan.

SK 26: What do we know about the project so far?

Sivakarthikeyan has announced his next project, SK 26. But fans must wait for some more time to know more about it. On Sunday, the makers announced that the new Sivakarthikeyan film will be bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International. This marks the second collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and Kamal Haasan after their 2023 successful film Amaran.

The first look poster of SK 26 will be revealed on Monday, at 5.02 pm. The director's name has not yet been revealed as of yet. The first look poster is expected to give out some important information. SK 26 is billed to be a rural entertainer. However, it is believed that Sivakarthikeyan will be collaborating with Thaai Kizhavi director Sivakumar Murugesan.

Directed by filmmaker Sudha Kongara, Parasakthi is set in the 1950-60s era and revolves around the anti-Hindi agitations that took place in Tamil Nadu. Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa and Sreeleela also play important characters in the film.

On the other hand, Sivakarthikeyan who is also a producer, is anticipating the release of his next production, Thaai Kizhavi which stars Radikaa Sarathkumar in the lead role. The film is directed by debutant Sivakumar Murugesan. First slated for February 20 release, the film has now been postponed to February 27. Billed to be a rural comedy drama, it also stars Singam Puli, Arul Doss, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Ilavarasu, George Maryan, Muthukumar, and Raichal Rabeccaa.
