Sky Force box office collection day 9: Akshay Kumar-Veer Pahariya's film surpasses Rs 90 crore, nears Rs 100-crore club

Sky Force box office collection day 9: Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya's aerial drama hit the big screen on January 24, 2025. The movie performed exceptionally well in the initial three days of its release. After a sharp decline on day four, Sky Force failed to show impressive growth in its collections. Despite that, the aerial actioner has now finally raced past Rs 90 crore. On day nine, the movie saw a slight surge in its collection than day 8.

Sky Force box office report day 9

Sky Force minted around Rs 3 crore on day 8 at the box office. However, it witnessed a slight increase in its collection on day nine. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya-starrer collected Rs 5 crore. The nine-day total of Sky Force now comes close to Rs 95 crore.

Needless to say, the Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani directorial will soon enter the Rs 100-crore club. With that, Sky Force will become the first Hindi film to earn Rs 100 crore in 2025. Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the movie was shot in India and UK.

Veer Pahariya on Sky Force's theatrical release

In an interview with India Forums, Veer Pahariya discussed his debut Hindi film, Sky Force, which was, which was finally released on the big screen. He said, "It feels surreal. I think I've waited my entire life for this moment. Becoming a professional actor has always been my dream, and I'm incredibly grateful to God and my parents for their blessings, which helped me get here."

"It's a big day for me, and I'm happy to be part of a film that will resonate with audiences and evoke emotions about family, loved ones, and our country," added Veer.
