Snehan and Julie to participate in the much-awaited reality show Bigg Boss Ultimate

Raju Jeyamohan was adjudged as the winner of Bigg Boss Tamil 5 which culminated recently. Fans of the reality show were in for a surprise when Kamal Haasan, the host of the show, announced a while ago that they are going to come up with Bigg Boss Ultimate soon which will stream 24x7 on Disney+ Hotstar.

The logo of the new format of the show was launched by Sivakarthikeyan who was present at the house during the announcement of the young star's next project which will be bankrolled by Kamal's Raaj Kamal Films International. The makers of the show had hinted at contestants of the previous season of the show coming together again in its new format. 

Though the names of several contestants were doing the rounds on social media ever since Bigg Boss Ultimate was announced, the team has now officially revealed two of its participants. Snehan and Julie aka Maria Juliana, who were contestants in the show's first season in 2017, have been roped in for Bigg Boss Ultimate. 

The makers kept the show's fans guessing by posting clues from the social media page of Disney+ Hotstar before revealing their names. Snehan, a lyricist, and Julie, an actress, had courted controversies during their first stint in the reality show. Both of them had earned brickbats on social media for their behaviour in the house.

The makers released a video clip each featuring both of them getting ready for the big show. While Julie is seen getting irritated during a phone call with an unknown person, Snehan appears relaxed, penning lyrics for a song.

Fans of the show are eagerly waiting to know whether there would be more contestants from first season in its new format. Bigg Boss Ultimate will start streaming from January 30.
