One of the most bankable actors in the Hindi cinema business is Salman Khan. We say this as even his box office failures have brought in more than Rs. 100 crore. His release on Eid 2024 has sparked a lot of discussion. Salman Khan and Karan Johar are reportedly in talks for a Vishnu Vardhan film, according to the reports. We have yet another intriguing hint regarding Salman Khan's likely future project.

A film starring Salman Khan and Kapil Sharma was announced in the year 2012. Titled Sher Khan, the film was said to be a jungle adventure. The film was touted to show the superstar as a lion-hearted He-Man with heavy VFX action. Now, recent reports by New18 state that after getting postponed multiple times, the film, which was supposed to be directed by Sohail Khan is set to be revived.

Sohail Khan recently spilled some beans about the projects saying that he is planning on returning to the industry with Sher Khan and intends to bring the film to theatres in 2025. He also revealed why he shelved the film in the first place saying, "That’s (VFX) one area where technology is growing by bounds," he said.

He also revealed how every time he thought of finishing the script, he would watch a new Marvel movie and used to feel backdated about what he had written. He was quoted as saying, "Every time we would finish the scripting of Sher Khan, I would watch another Marvel film and that used to make me feel backdated in terms of what I’ve written and how I want the action to be. I knew that by the time the film comes out, it would look backdated.”

He continued saying that they pre-empt what’s going to happen. He revealed that their action is more human, so when they go into technology-based action, there’s a slack. "We think of the present times while the rest of the world keeps moving on,” said.

The Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya actor also revealed that he will be starting the work on his long-awaited romantic comedy, My Punjabi Nikah, which was reported to star Aayush Sharma in the lead. He plans to resume work on the film this year.
