Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar 2 second trailer is out as the duja trailer, and this one is a deja vu of Akshay Kumar's comedy film, Welcome. The new trailer finally breaks down what the film is all about, and the striking resemblance to Akshay's 2007 film cannot be missed. Watch the trailer here...
Son of Sardaar 2 duja trailer (second trailer) breaks down what the film is about. It all begins with a divorce. Ajay Devgn's character Jassi is happily married. He is married to Neeru Bajwa's character, but she files for divorce. That is where Jassi's new story begins. He falls in love again, this time with Mrunal Thakur's Rabia. She, however, is raised in a joint family and holds them close. The big problem, though? Her family is mafia and wants the women of their family to get married to a respectable family. How does Jassi fall into chaos? He has to pretend he is a colonel.

Son of Sardaar 2 is like Welcome because the majority of the story revolves around a mafia family trying to get the women of their family married into a respectable family. Back in Welcome, Paresh Rawal's Dr. Dayal, who played Akshay Kumar's uncle, refused the match because his nephew Rajiv was trying to get involved with the mafia family through Sanjana (Katrina Kaif). This time around, Ravi Kishan's character seems to do something similar. Thus, Son of Sardaar 2 feels like Welcome all over again.
Apart from Ajay, Neeru, Mrunal and Ravi Kishan, Son of Sardaar 2 stars Sanjay Mishra, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, Ashwini Kalsekar, Sahil Mehta and the late Mukul Dev in pivotal roles. The film also features Sanjay Dutt in a pivotal role and will release in theatres on August 1.
