Soppana Sundari: THIS leading platform bags the digital rights of Aishwarya Rajesh's black comedy

Aishwarya Rajesh-starrer Soppana Sundari is one of the few Tamil movies that are slated to release in theatres on April 14. The makers had unveiled its trailer and other promo videos a while ago. The SG Charles directorial features Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli and Deepa Shankar, too, in crucial roles.

Karunakaran, Sathish, Redin Kingsley, Mime Gopi and Sunil Reddy others will be seen essaying pivotal characters in it. Hamsini Entertainment and Huebox Studios have bankrolled the project in association with Ahimsa Entertainment. Ajmal Tahseen has composed music while K Sarath Kumar has handled editing.

Soppana Sundari revolves around the unexpected incidents that happen in the life of three women. Enter a shrewd cop and their lives become a mess. How they sort out the issue forms the rest of the story. Balamurugan and Vignesh Rajagopalan have cranked the camera for the project which has action choreography helmed by Miracle Michael, Don Ashok and Ramkumar.

The makers have now revealed that Disney+ Hotstar has bagged the movie's digital rights. The film is likely to drop on the platform in the third week of May. The OTT release date will be announced after its theatrical release.

Soppana Sundari is Aishwarya's third outing this year after Run Baby Run and The Great Indian Kitchen. The former, too, dropped on Hotstar after a month of its theatrical release while the latter dropped on Zee5.

The actress has almost half-a-dozen projects in her kitty in different languages, and at least two more of her movies are likely to be released this year. Mohandas and Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga come across as promising among the Tamil films she is awaiting now.
