The show's recently released trailer gives viewers a taste of its frantic and fiery tone. "Hello, my cute little red flags, my name is Apoorva, aka The Rebel Kid, and welcome to the spiciest, the most kaleshi show on the internet, Spice It Up." She sets the premise, describing it as "Ek aisa show jahan hum ek torture technique use karke celebs se secrets nikalwate hain."
Intercut with graphics describing the show as "NOT YOUR REGULAR CHAT SHOW", "UNFILTERED AF", and "SPICE OVERLOAD" are snapshots of the famous guests eating extremely spicy pani puris (or golgappas) throughout the roughly 48-second video. Several celebs exhibit extreme reactions to the spicy stuff, including drinking water, gripping their heads, wiping their eyes with tissues, and fanning themselves. While consuming the extremely spicy Pani Puri, Tiwary, Roy, and Kapila display signs of uneasiness. In one scene, we see one of them drenching a puri in the spicy water, while in another, we see Tiwary covering his ears. The space has a lively aesthetic, with neon signs, red brick walls, and the words "Red Flag" written clearly on them.

Apoorva is heard asking Tiwary, "And who is the one person you would love to kiss?" to which he replies, "I think Ranbir." "Dulhe ko koi farak nahi padta hai. 50 golgappe kha do. Mujhe farak nahi padega" ("The groom doesn't care at all. Eat 50 golgappe. I won't care") is something Kapila says in another sequence. "Aisa lagta hai there's a death in the house," Mouni says, revealing her "breakup ritual". Apoorva says, "Toh usually logon ki fat ke char hoti hai, meri fat ke chauhhattar hui thi (So, usually people are scared stiff, but I was scared seventy-four times over)." near the end of the trailer.
The pani puri challenge, which includes "increasingly spicy rounds" and "bold, personal questions," serves as the main attraction of the show. In addition, the show features "Dare to Play" segments, which include "rapid-fire games, spontaneous tasks, and playful dares" to add a lively element. The show adopts a "vlog-style storytelling" format, aiming for "messy, chaotic, and hilarious" narratives.
To kick off her hosting career, Mukhija said in a statement, "It’s my first time hosting, and I wanted it to feel like me – unfiltered, dramatic, and completely unpredictable. On Spice It Up, I get to recreate that thrill on a bigger scale. Every pani puri, every rapid-fire game, and every dare is designed to catch my guests off guard, break down walls, and spark the real stories that no one expects. It’s messy, chaotic, and hilarious—but that’s exactly where the magic happens."
"This show isn’t just about spice; it’s about fun, spontaneity, and raw human reactions. I watch my guests sweat, laugh, stumble, and reveal sides of themselves they didn’t even know existed. The juiciest confessions always come when you’re slightly uncomfortable, and that’s the chaos I live for. With unexpected twists, playful banter, and nonstop surprises, Spice It Up is all about celebrating honesty, humour, and the kind of stories that keep you hooked till the very last bite," she noted.
