Spirit - Sandeep Reddy Vanga is only worried about THIS while making Prabhas-starrer

Sandeep Reddy Vanga is one of the most successful directors in this country who has delivered back-to-back three blockbuster hits - from his debut directorial film Arjun Reddy to Shahid Kapoor-starrer Kabir Singh and Animal with Ranbir Kapoor. As he gears up for his upcoming venture Spirit with Telugu star Prabhas, Sandeep said his only worry is about executing his script on screen.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga on dealing with pressure

During a conversation with Galatta Plus recently, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga was asked about the kind of pressure he faces after delivering three blockbuster hits. Replying to this, Sandeep said that right now he is not thinking about such pressures and is only worried about his writing and how it is going to be executed on screen. He feels that it is a very made-up thing to feel pressure because he knows that Spirit is a heavy-budget film and there is a lot of money involved, compared to Animal or Arjun Reddy. “It is the most painful process, to achieve what you write. Rest all is achieved if the material is good. If you take pressure, you will do the same thing you did in the previous film,” he said.

Spirit’s budget is more than Rs 300 crore: Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Sandeep further said that the budget for Spirit is more than Rs 300 crore and the one thing he aims to achieve is that the producer should always get back his money.

When the interviewer asked if a budget of more than Rs 300 crore is viable for the successful director-actor duo of Sandeep and Prabhas, the director replied that it depends on the actor and for Prabhas Rs 300 crore is a viable budget. Sandeep said if the film stars new actors and if the material is sure to grab the attention of the audience, then Rs 4 crore is safe to make a film in the Telugu industry as he made Arjun Reddy with a budget of Rs 5 crore.
