Squid Game 3 is about to mark the end of the deadly games. As the day for its release gets near, the makers take us through the journey that the lead character Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae, has been through. His trauma with the games continues, and the belief that there is someone better than him who also deserves to survive is just as strong. The real question this time is, can the others survive too? Watch the trailer here...
It is no longer hidden that Gi-hun, aka Player 456, will not only play an important role in Squid Game 3, but this will mark the end of his journey with the games. Things are not going to be easy this time either.
The new games will bring more deaths on the table, and they're going to be just as bad. The Squid Game Dolls Young-hee and her boyfriend Chul-su, who play the jump rope game, have a new plan for the players. These players will be thrown out of the game as they are pushed out from great heights with the help of the heavy rope. The new trailer also suggests games similar to The Floor Is Lava, where one wrong move, even as you walk, could get you killed. That is how deadly the games are this time around.
Squid Game season 3 marks the end of Squid Game, but the franchise would continue with more spin-offs coming our way. This season, Lee Jung-jae's Gi-hun faces his greatest fears and makes decisions after going through a whole new journey. Hell-bent on closing down the games, Gi-hun is seen as VIP confronting the Frontman (Lee Byung-hun), who he once considered his friend, this season. Will there be changes in Gi-hun's decision-making? The makers leave a big tease even as the final trailer unveils. Squid Game 3 will be out on Netflix on June 27.
