It was almost two months ago that Amazon Prime Video announced the arrival of the series Suzhal – The Vortex. The project is the first Tamil series from the OTT platform. Pushkar-Gayatri has penned the screenplay for the series which has been directed by Bramma and Anucharan.

Aishwarya Rajesh, Parthiban, Kathir and Sriya Reddy play lead roles in the project which is touted as a thriller. All set to drop on Amazon Prime on June 17, the series is riding on high expectations among movie buffs after its trailer was released recently.

Sriya Reddy, who plays Regina, a taut cop in Suzhal - The Vortex, has now shared a short BTS video in which she is having fun, on her Instagram page. Sporting a khaki, she is seen indulging in a physical workout during a break from the project's shooting in Ooty.

The actress, who has played a few bold characters, is said to be essaying a significant role in Suzhal, which is expected to leave her fans surprised. A huge fitness buff, too, she said, “As I was shooting for serious scenes continuously, I badly wanted a breather; I thought doing pull-ups would be interesting while shooting in a place like Ooty."

She also posted pictures from some fun moments she shared with Kathir who also essays a cop in the series. The eight-episode crime thriller's story is said to revolve around the mysterious case of a missing girl which leaves an entire town shocked. Suzhal - The Vortex will be released in different Indian languages like Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and English.

Interestingly, the series will be available to stream in many foreign languages like German, French, Japanese, Polish, Italian, Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Arabic, Latin Spanish, and Turkish, too.
