The movie will mark Mahesh Babu’s third collaboration with the scriptwriter Srinivas

Mahesh Babu has been busy with the post-production works of his upcoming movie Sarkaru Vaari Paata. He does not have his hands free and will take more time to collaborate with the phenomenal scriptwriter Trivikram Srinivas for the much-awaited project. Their movie is currently titled SSMB 28, marking the 28th movie of Telugu star Mahesh Babu. The film is said to begin its production in November.
The movie was supposed to go on floors in August but Mahesh Babu was busy with the shoot of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The movie also took time to complete its post-production works as it was rescheduled due to lockdown restrictions at Ramoji Rao Film City and in the city of Hyderabad. Sources close to the actor have revealed that he will only take on another movie once he completes all works related to Sarkar Vaari Paata. The actor is also waiting for his project with Rajamouli which also got postponed due to the delay in the release of RRR. Mahesh Babu is also involved in the production of the Hindi movie Major starring Advi Shesh, based on the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attack and the bravery of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.
Meanwhile, SSMB28 will mark Mahesh Babu’s third collaboration with Trivikram Srinivas after Athadu and Khaleja, both superhits and recipients of many awards. The star scriptwriter-cum-director last worked for the Allu Arjun starring blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and is currently awaiting the release of Bheemla Nayak starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati. Trivikram is known for collaborating with the top-tier heroes in the industry and has delivered blockbusters like S/O Sathyamurthy, Agnyaathavaasi, and Attarintiki Daredi.
