SSMB28 massive update: Teaser of Mahesh Babu starrer to be unveiled on this date

Fans of Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu are eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming movie, temporarily titled SSMB28. The film marks Mahesh's reunion with director Trivikram Srinivas after a gap of 13 years, since their last collaboration on the film Khaleja in 2010.

However, recent media reports suggested that the production of the highly-anticipated movie has hit an obstacle. Responding to these rumours, producer Nag Vamsi urged fans to remain patient and trust in the production team.

"Birds chirp loudly when they are in search for food. In the same way, rumours spread across when someone needs attention. It's easy to ignore them or look at them and laugh, continue to do our job. Super fans, #SSMB28 will be something to cherish and remember. Hear everything you want to, but remember just this statement!" tweeted Vamsi, putting an end to the rumours.

The producer also announced that the teaser of the movie will be unveiled on May 31st, giving fans a taste of what's to come. "If these gossip mongers can take a hike or make movies like they spread rumors, Industry can benefit. We want #SSMB28 to be a sure-shot Blockbuster and YOU TAKE OUR WORD ON IT. It would be better to let us work at our pace in peace. Remember it is a Jan 2024 release film! Fans, you loved the first look, just wait and watch on May 31st what we are up to," he added.

Earlier, the filmmakers had released the first look of the movie, announcing its release date on January 13, 2024, coinciding with the celebration of Sankranti.

After completing this movie, Mahesh will next join the sets of director SS Rajamouli . The production of the movie was delayed as Rajamouli was busy with the Oscar campaign. The movie will go on the floors soon. Rajamouli had earlier described the project as a "globe-trotting adventure."
