SS Rajamouli is currently busy with his new film featuring Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra Jonas as the main leads. Two schedules of the film have already been wrapped up by the makers, and very soon, the third schedule will go on the floors.

We at OTTplay have already reported that a chunk of the shoot will happen in Africa, and as per the latest update, the makers will shoot the third schedule in Kenya.
One of the sources close to the unit has revealed to us that the third schedule will kick-start in the second week of July 2025. The core cast will take part in this schedule, and the source goes on to add that Rajamouli will mostly film massive chase sequences and scenes related to the animal backdrop.
The word is also that Madhavan has been roped in to play a key part and will also join this schedule. Some of the noted action choreographers from Hollywood are supposed to can the stunts in this schedule.
Mahesh Babu, who was sporting long hair for this film, is back to his normal look now. Rajamouli is in no mood to wrap up the film in a hurry and is taking his own time. There is also news that the film has a Ramayana backdrop, and this has excited fans big time.
Tough days ahead for Rajamouli's next
The Kenya schedule will be the hardest to date for the unit, but knowing Rajamouli, his team, comprising mostly of his family members—are ready to go all out on the new schedule. Prithviraj Sukumaran, the star Malayalam actor, will be seen as one of the villains in this film.
KL Narayana is producing this film on a massive scale, and he is pumping in big money on this project.
