Dada-fame Kavin’s upcoming family drama Star, helmed by Elan, is currently under production. As fans await juicy updates from the film, director Elan himself has shared an interesting shot from the upcoming drama. The director took to social media handles to share a BTS shot from the film which he captioned, “#STARMOVIE Satisfying day at work yesterday. A scene which I conceived 3 years back is executed successfully. Thanks for the wonderful support and execution from my team.”
The director revealed that this particular shot is from the first scene that comes after the interval. “P.S - It’s the First scene after interval !”, the director wrote.
Aaditi S Pohankar as ‘Jimmiky’
Earlier, the makers had unveiled the character promo video played by Aaditi S Pohankar. The makers introduced her as ‘Jimmiky’, the role essayed by the actress. Apart from Aaditi, the film also stars Lal, Preity Mukhundhan, and Geetha Kailasam in key roles. Musical genius Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring music for the film, while Ezhil Arasu K is the cinematographer. Vinoth Raj Kumar N is the art director and Pradeep E Ragav handles the editing.
What is Star movie all about?
The upcoming film features Kavin in the role of a movie star, covering the struggles and the untold side of stardom. The film, which was initially headlined by Harish Kalyan, will see Kavin in a new avatar. The film will have elements of college romance, family drama and more as its central theme. Earlier, the makers had revealed a photo album promo which took the audience through a series of shots showcasing the journey of the protagonist’s life from childhood to adulthood. The promo hints at a heartwarming story which will be narrated in the very own ‘Kavin-style’. The actor, who mesmerised the audience with the emotional drama Dada, has piqued the audiences' expectations with this upcoming drama.
