Star producer bags the theatrical rights of Nani's Saripoda Sanivaaram for a massive price, details inside

Hi Nanna was Nani's last release, which was out in theatres on December 7, 2023. The family drama ended up being a good hit at the box office and is now streaming on Netflix. The reception to the film has been great and with high energy, Nani has been shooting for his new film Saripoda Sanivaaram, directed by Vivek Athreya, who made Ante Sundaraniki with Nani.

Well, the latest news is that star producer Dil Raju has bagged the theatrical rights of both Telugu states for a massive price. Although this news is nothing special, it comes at a point when Dil Raju is seeing losses as he bought the rights to Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram in Telangana, and the film has ended up being a failure in this region. So, his spending big money on Nani's film has become a hot topic.

Saripoda Sanivaaram is a superhero film on the lines of Minnal Murali and is being made on a huge budget. Nani will be seen in an action avatar in this film after Dasara and there is a lot of hype around this project, and that is the reason Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations has bagged the rights. Priyanka Arul Mohan plays the female lead in this film.

Nani will be sharing screen space with SJ Suryah for the first time and he plays the main villain in Saripoda Sanivaaram. DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari are producing this action drama under the banner of DVV Entertainment. Jakes Bejoy is the music director. 

The shooting of this film is happening in a specially constructed set in Hyderabad and some key action scenes are being canned as of now.

Nani's last two films, Dasara and Hi Nanna, earned good money at the box office and that is the reason that the demand for theatrical and other post-release rights for Saripoda Sanivaaram is in high demand. Nani has now become a bankable star hero and all his films are seeing minimum profit even if they are predicted to be flops.
