After videos of fans blowing off firecrackers in a packed cinema theatre went viral on social media, Salman Khan requested that they celebrate the release of his film Tiger 3 safely. For the uninitiated, a group of zealous fans exploded firecrackers inside Mohan Cinema in Maharashtra's Nashik district during a screening of the film on Sunday night, upsetting the serene mood and generating widespread anxiety among fellow spectators, police said.
A call for safe celebrations
Salman posted on his X (formerly known as Twitter) page, "I'm hearing about fireworks inside theatres during Tiger 3. This is dangerous. Let's enjoy the film without putting ourselves and others at risk. Stay safe. (sic)"

Theatrical chaos
The action on screen took a backseat to the goings-on inside the theatre at the Tiger 3 screening, while sparks and smoke billowing from crackers went off close to the screen. Another wave of shock waves emerged from beneath the seats around the theatre as the first wave travelled through the theatre. While many spectators enthusiastically participated in the on-stage recreations of Diwali, others, fearing for their safety, scurried out of the theatre at the first sign of smoke.
As the last remnants of the firecrackers died out, a thick cloud of smoke made its way into the theatre. The theatre owner has apparently filed a complaint, and the police are looking into the matter.
Meanwhile, talking about Tiger 3, it is the third instalment in the hit franchise and the fifth film in the YRF Spy Universe. The film also stars Katrina Kaif reprising her role as Zoya and Emraan Hashmi as the main antagonist. Tiger 3 is Maneesh Sharma's directorial and the film hit the big screens on Diwali Day, which is Sunday, November 12, 2023.
The film created a roar at the box office this festive season by making more than Rs. 44 crore in the domestic market.
