Tiger 3, featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, was released on November 12, 2023. The movie had a festive release as it hit the big screen on Diwali. The film opened to mixed response by critics. However, audiences have lauded the YRF film. In fact, the Maneesh Sharma directorial has taken a good start at the box office.
According to early estimates by Sacnlik, Tiger 3 earned around ₹44.50 crore on day 1 at the ticket window. Having said that, the makers are yet to share the official opening day figures of the Salman and Katrina-starrer.

For the unversed, trade analyst Taran Adarsh had earlier told OTTplay that Tiger 3 was likely to mint ₹40-45 crore at the BO. And, as per the early estimates, the film has collected ₹44.50 crore (inclusive of all languages) at the ticket window.
Having said that, Tiger 3 was unable to beat Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan and Pathaan's opening day collection. Say for that matter, trade expert Taran had also opined that evening shows of the film would be affected due to Laxmi Puja on Diwali. Despite that, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's film has done well.

Backed by Yash Raj Films, Tiger 3 marked Salman and Katrina's on-screen reunion as Tiger and Zoya. They earlier worked in Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai. Emraan Hashmi joined the third installment of Tiger as an antagonist. Shah Rukh Khan made a special appearance as Pathaan in the movie. Hrithik Roshan, too, made a cameo appearance.
What's next for Salman Khan?
On the work front, Salman Khan is likely to begin the shoot for Tiger vs Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan in 2024. Both superstars will be reprising their roles from the YRF spy universe.
Apart from this movie, Salman has filmmaker Vishnuvardhan's untitled project lined up. The movie will be bankrolled by Karan Johar under his production banner Dharma Productions. Khan's new look is said to be for the same project, in which he is likely to play an army personnel.
