Stranger Things is gearing up for another exciting new season that promises to explore more horrors of the upside down. The series’ star cast, including Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp, are all set to reprise their iconic roles. But it seems that Brown and Schnapp have a few interesting ideas in store when it comes to the final fate of their characters.

Brown and Schnapp essay the roles of Jane Hopper (Eleven) and Will Byers, respectively. In a conversation with The Wrap, Schnapp teased that one of the main characters ‘will die’, to which Brown joked that she knows it. Schnapp went on to talk about how the makers ‘needed’ to kill off some people because of how big the group was at the moment. Saying that the group was indeed ‘way too big’, Brown recounted a moment when the cast members were unable to take a group photo together because of how many they were. “You need to start killing people off,” said Brown. “They just need to have one massacre where half the cast dies,” added Schnapp.

Brown went on to talk about how the show’s creators, the Duffer brothers, were ‘sensitive sallies’, who did not want to kill anyone off. The actress said that the show needed to have a mindset like Game of Thrones, and even suggested that her character be killed off. She also remarked how the creators had tried to kill off David Harbour’s character, only to bring him back for the new season.

Stranger Things 4 volume 1 will be available to stream on Netflix from May 27. The second volume of season 4 will be released on July 1.
