Released on Independence Day this year, the film benefited from an extended weekend and has become a juggernaut, earning impressive numbers in just seven days. Starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee in leading roles, the film continues to dominate with its content and is now just a day or two away from hitting the Rs 300 crore mark at the net box office, as Day 7 showcased its momentum even on weekdays.

This sequel has been highly anticipated for years, and audiences have embraced it wholeheartedly.
According to the latest numbers, Stree 2 earned Rs 255.35 crore net by Day 6, which was already a remarkable achievement. The film maintained its momentum and brought in an additional Rs 20 crore on Day 7, pushing the total collection to Rs 275.35 crore net. According to Sacnilk, the film has already crossed the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide in gross collections, making it the biggest hit of the year.
Stree 2's box office success is particularly impressive considering it was released alongside two other major films: Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu’s ensemble drama Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham and Sharvari’s Vedaa. Despite the stiff competition, Stree 2 outpaced them from Day 1. All three films enjoyed the advantage of an extended weekend, but the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer had the additional benefit of paid previews held on Wednesday.
These paid previews, held a day before the official release, contributed an extra Rs 8.5 crore to the total collection. Meanwhile, the buzz surrounding the film is so strong that positive word-of-mouth is likely to further boost its success.
