Sultan of Delhi announcement: Milan Luthria's OTT debut starring Tahir Raj Bhasin is all about greed, betrayal, the fight for power

The new Disney+ Hostar series titled Sultan of Delhi has been announced, and it has all the interesting elements: a path to power, a friendship that warms your heart, and the charm of the 1960s. Reliance Entertainment produced the series, which is based on Arnab Ray's book Sultan of Delhi: Ascension. Suparn Verma and Milan Luthria both co-direct and co-write it.

Milan Luthria's OTT debut

Milan will make his OTT directing debut with Sultan of Delhi, a bigger-than-life mass entertainer that is set to come out on October 13, 2023. It reimagines the charm of old India and creates a visual spectacle on screen. The show has a great group of actors, including Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anjum Sharma, Vinay Pathak, Nishant Dahiya, and the women Anupriya Goenka, Mouni Roy, Harleen Sethi, and Mehreen Pirzada.

In a statement, Gaurav Banerjee, Head of Content for Disney+, Hotstar, and HSM Entertainment Network at Disney Star, said that they are very excited to work with ace director Milan Luthria. With a series like Sultan of Delhi, they want to bring this bigger-than-life cinematic experience to their platform. Milan's skill and magic in bringing the 1960s to life on screen have been amazing, and they hope that this show will give viewers a chance to see it up close.
