Sundar C's Coffee With Kadhal gets a release date; here's when the rom-com will hit the screens

Sundar C, who last directed Aranmanai 3 a year ago, is ready with his next outing, Coffee With Kadhal. A few promo videos from the movie were unveiled recently, and makers have now come up with its release date. The multi-starrer flick, which is billed as a rom-com, will hit the screens on October 7.

Red Giant Movies, which has acquired the project's theatrical rights in Tamil Nadu, has announced the date, leaving movie buffs elated. Jiiva, Srikanth, Jai, Malvika Sharma and Amritha play lead roles in the movie which boasts of an ensemble cast, reminding us of several earlier films of the director.

Yuvan Shankar Raja's background score and songs are said to be one of the highlights of the film. One of the songs he has composed for Coffee With Kadhal is the remix version of popular track Rum Bum Bum from Kamal Haasan-starrer Michael Madana Kama Rajan, originally composed by Ilaiyaraaja.

Raiza Wilson, Aishwarya Dutta, Dhivyadarshini, Samyuktha Shanmugam, Redin Kingsley and Yogi Babu among others essay notable roles in the movie which has been produced by Kushboo Sundar and ACS Arun Kumar under the banners of Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media respectively.

E Krishnasamy and Fenny Oliver have cranked the camera and handled editing respectively for the project which has dialogues penned by Selva Bharathi Kumarasamy. Thalapathy Dinesh has choreographed action scenes while Sandy has composed dance moves.

Gururaj P has helmed art direction for the film which brings together Jiiva with Srikanth and Jai for the second time. The actor had shared the screen time with Srikanth earlier in Nanban and acted along with Jai in Kalakalappu 2.
