Sundaram Master is a film that popular comedian Viva Harsha can be really proud of. It marks his debut as a hero in the Telugu film industry. Megastar Chiranjeevi even promoted the film, which gave Sundaram Master a massive buzz before its release on February 23, 2024.

Sundaram Master clocks 100 million streaming minutes

The makers promoted the film aggressively in Telugu states and also had a special premiere for a section of the audience. Well, the film is now streaming on Aha and has impressed everyone. The latest update is that Sundaram Master has clocked a whopping 100 million streaming minutes.

This is unique as the film does not have any star value and ended as a flop at the box office. Clocking such views is a first of its kind for a comedian who turned the main lead. Not many know, but Ravi Teja produced this film on his RT Teamworks banner. 

Sundaram Master cast and budget details

Divya Sripada, the popular Telugu girl, played the female lead in this film, which was directed by Kalyan Santhosh. According to the news, the film was made on a budget of less than Rs 3 crore and did not even make Rs 2 crore. But the film landed in a safe zone, thanks to the OTT deal with Aha.

Sundaram Master is about a small-time school teacher who is sent to the forest region to educate the tribal people. But he goes on a small mission to find the hidden treasure. The crux of the film is how things change for the better and the manner in which the coming-of-age drama is showcased. Viva Harsha's performance as an innocent school teacher was loved by one and all.

Sundaram Master is Ravi Teja's second production and both his films have flopped. But that has not bothered him as he continues to produce low-budget films on his banner. As of now, he is shooting for his new film, Mr Bachchan, which is being directed by Harish Shankar and is the official remake of the Hindi hit Raid.
